Emily is an attorney with DBL Law, located in Covington, Kentucky. Emily has represented a wide array of clients from individuals and corporations to homeowners and condominium owners associations as well as hospitals and nursing homes. Her current focus is in the area of Estate Planning and Probate. Emily is licensed to practice in Kentucky and Ohio, and in the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Divisions of Kentucky. She is an approved ARAG™ Network Attorney.
Emily served on the Board of Directors for the Welcome House of Northern Kentucky from 2005 – 2011 and held the position of board chair for 2010-2011. Emily continued to serve the Welcome House by helping with their capital campaigns. Emily also served on the Kenton County Library Foundation Board from 2012-2017 and held the position of board chair from 2015-2017. In addition, Emily previously served as an adjunct faculty member of the Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where she taught law students trial advocacy skills. Emily helped raise over $60,000.00 for the St. Elizabeth Medical Center Foundation in honor of her late mother, to benefit women who have or are at high hereditary risk for developing breast cancer.
Emily was elected to her parish Board of Total Catholic Education and served as the Board President. She is also an active volunteer at her church and children’s school, chairing the Summer Festival Live and Silent Auction Committees and various other fundraising events. In addition, she served as a Girl Scout Troop leader for 3 years and is a member of the Athletics Association. Emily is currently serving as a member of the Kenton County Ethics Commission. Emily resides with her husband and their three children.
