At I Have Wings Breast Cancer Foundation, we believe no one should face breast cancer alone. That’s why our exclusive No-one Goes Solo programs are designed to ease the loneliness, fear, and anxiety that often come with a diagnosis.
As a volunteer-driven, community-focused, and non-discriminatory organization, we provide compassionate support tailored to each woman’s unique journey—from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
What We Offer:
Emotional Support: Personal phone calls, care packages, and encouragement.
Financial Assistance: Help with essential needs such as food, prosthetics, and transportation—based on where the patient is in their treatment.
Education & Advocacy: We participate in local health fairs, and speak publicly to raise awareness.
Scholarships: Annual scholarships for families affected by breast cancer, restrictions apply.
Research Support: We proudly fund breast and ovarian cancer research through the Wood Hudson Cancer Research Laboratory.
Founder Janet Chambers, a breast cancer survivor herself, is also a passionate speaker who shares her story and insights with both public audiences and private organizations.
Fighting cancer impacts the entire family, and needs can change quickly. Our No-one Goes Solo program is here to provide one-on-one emotional and financial support, when it’s needed most.
