At I Have Wings Breast Cancer Foundation, we believe no one should face breast cancer alone. That’s why our exclusive No One Goes Solo programs are designed to ease the loneliness, fear, and anxiety that often come with a diagnosis.
As a volunteer-driven, community-focused, and non-discriminatory organization, we provide compassionate support tailored to each woman’s unique journey—from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
What We Offer:
Emotional Support: Personal phone calls, care packages, and encouragement.
Financial Assistance: Help with essential needs such as food, prosthetics, and transportation—based on where the patient is in their treatment.
Education & Advocacy: We participate in local health fairs, and speak publicly to raise awareness.
Scholarships: Annual scholarships for families affected by breast cancer, restrictions apply.
Research Support: We proudly fund breast and ovarian cancer research through the Wood Hudson Cancer Research Laboratory.
Founder Janet Chambers, a breast cancer survivor herself, is also a passionate speaker who shares her story and insights with both public audiences and private organizations.
Fighting cancer impacts the entire family, and needs can change quickly. Our No One Goes Solo program is here to provide one-on-one emotional and financial support, when it’s needed most.
